Hi, just checking in with you all. We are all doing great, David is still loving his new job, Lakiesha loves it when Daddy gets home, as soon as I say Daddy's here she runs for the front door and straight into David's arms. We are adjusting to living on a paycheck again, but we are learning to be more responsible with our money and to make sure we have everything we need without it costing us a fortune that we don't have. Congratulations to Tania and Gary who welcomed their son into the world on sunday morning. Joel Spencer McGhee, little brother to Michaela. Congratulations, we look forward to meeting the new addition soon at Playgroup. Well must go I have to finish cleaning up and organizing the office and I have to go stick a loaf of bread on.
Love you all. xoxo

We've just come in from playing out on the back lawn. Well Lakiesha played, I just followed her every move with the digital camera. She roamed all over the back yard which was unusual for her because until a couple of weeks ago she didn't even like grass. She also pulled all of the pegs out of the basket and they are still all over the lawn because she ran off with the empty basket in the end. Cheeky bugger. It was stinking hot today we went to Carousel for a couple of hours just to get out of the house and away from Midland, since then we've watched Oprah, done three loads of laundry, and swept the floor. Which means we get to relax a bit after we get home from playgroup tomorrow. YAY! Now we just need to reorganise the office so I can spend more time scrapbooking. Now we are off to water the plants. All our love Holly and Lakiesha xoxo.

We hope you are all well, Lakiesha and I (Holly) have slight colds not good at all. I just have a stuffy nose, but Lakiesha has a runny nose and to make things worse she's getting two new molars at the top. Dave is back to his second week of work and still loving his new job. He usually gets to knock off about 4pm, which means we have a bit of relaxation time before watering the plants and organizing dinner. Lakiesha is still sleeping through the night and we have cut down to only 2-3 breastfeeds a day, so hopefully we'll be finished in the next few months. Love, hugs and kisses to you all. Photo taken a couple of weeks ago, before Lakiesha and Dave went to see Uncle Donk, while I got to stay home.

Just updating to let you all know Dave is loving his new job, he comes home happy, smiling and waiting to give his girls hugs and kisses. Lakiesha practically throws herself into daddy's arms as soon as he gets home. She is most definately Daddy's Little Girl!!

We went to Araluen on Saturday 11th of March. It was a perfect day, weather wise not too hot or cold. We went for a nice little walk and found Nan Carruthers' bench. We found it at the end of a path, just across a bridge sitting in front of a nice little stream, it's a beautiful peaceful, relaxing little spot. Nan would have absolutely loved it. The photo below is of her bench, In Loving Memory Dorothy (Dot) Carruthers.

After finding Nana's bench, we went to a picnic spot and had morning tea of scones with jam and cream, a cheeseboard, grapes and nuts. It was nice and quiet and peaceful. We went for another walk down to Nan's bench where David sat me down and then he got down on bended knee and PROPOSED to me. Surprise we are ENGAGED!! I was so surprised I didn't know whether to laugh or cry, but I managed to say YES!! As I am sure you have already guessed the picture below is of the engagement ring that David and I picked out together. We have set a date but I don't want to tell anyone yet I'm going to make you all wait a little while longer.

After exploring Araluen a bit more we decided to go home and have a rest, as we went out that night to Dad's house and met Kerry's daughter Erin, her husband Lennet and their two daughters Anya and Katy. We made it an early night as it had been a long day, so we took ourselves off to bed. I didn't want to take off my engagement ring though. I'm very proud of David he's started his new job today, will let you all know how he goes soon. That's all of our news for today, love, hugs and kisses to everyone. Talk to you soon.

Hi all we haven't been too busy this week, David started a new job but found himself bored for most of the day, so he found a new job working at Jason Mazda in Osborne Park, which is better pay and he's not likely to get bored too soon. I got to pick up my new glasses last week, not a huge deterioration thankfully, but I still felt strange for a couple of days. Uncle Phil and Aunty Sarah have made the move to Dongara, we're going to miss them. xoxo to you guys. Well that's about all there is to say this week we are off to Araluen Botanical Park tomorrow, which will be very nice. We've also picked a ton more tomatoes. Just so you know at the bottom of each post you can leave us a message by clicking on the bit that says comments, then click on anyone under the comment box and type in your name so we know who our message is from. Love and kisses to all, the photo below I took of Lakiesha out the front of our house about 2 weeks ago, cute huh?
